Yes! Every new patient receives a complimentary consultation where Dr. Jolly performs a full exam and develops a personalized treatment plan — no referral needed.
No referral is needed but we will work hand-in-hand with your Dentist to make sure you receive the best possible overall dental health experience.
Orthodontists are dentists who have also completed a specialized residency program who focus on your bite and alignment of your teeth. Their job is to ensure that your smile looks great and that your bite feels good and functions properly.
When it comes to your health, you don't want to cut any corners. Straightening teeth and aligning the bite are both complex biological processes requiring more than a quick fix. Orthodontists are experts in both and are equipped to provide a custom treatment plan that is right for you.
Dr. Jolly customizes each and every treatment plan tailored to YOU. Most standard cases will finish within 18-24 months while more complex plans will require more time. Some minor cases can take much less time but everyone's case is developed with the best absolute result in mind.
You might be surprised but the process of getting braces put on doesn't hurt at all. The actual appointment is completely painless. You'll rest in the chair while Dr. Jolly and her staff expertly place the brackets by hand. Some discomfort may occur over the next 2-5 days (think a headache in your mouth) and there can also be some mild irritation while your gums and cheeks are getting used to the appliances. After the first visit there are typically no issues other than mild soreness 12-24 hours after some adjustments.
We typically find that it's never as bad as anyone thought it would be and the result is always worth it!
Just like your treatment plan we also personalize your visit schedule. Sometimes Dr. Jolly won't need to see you for a couple of months and other times she may wish to see you in 4 weeks. A typical distance between appointments is usually 6-9 weeks.
Yes! Jolly Orthodontics is a certified Invisalign provider. We not only provide Invisalign aligner treatment but Dr. Jolly has also attended many hours of advanced Invisalign training via continuing education and long term training programs such as the Aligner Intensive Fellowship.
Invisalign can treat many of the same issues as braces such as crowding, spacing and bite issues. When creating your customized treatment plan Dr. Jolly can discuss if you are a good candidate for Invisalign.
For the best results Invisalign must be worn for 20 to 22 hours per day. You will remove your aligners when eating and drinking (water is OK ;-) ) for the most part Dr. Jolly wants you to wear your aligners as close to full-time as possible.
The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that your child have an orthodontic examination by age 7 — for two very good reasons.
One stems from the fact that there's a wide disparity in tooth development at that age — so it takes an expert to tell if a child may actually have an orthodontic problem, or if it's just a normal developmental variation.
The second reason for an early exam is that many conditions are far easier to treat if they're caught at an early stage, when children's natural growth processes are in full swing.

Your child may not need any treatment at this time at all but that doesn't mean its a bad time to see an Orthodontist. Treatment may be necessary in the future and we will make for sure your child is monitored on a regular basis (free of charge!) while we are waiting for teeth to come in or while the face and jaws continue to develop.
If a problem that would benefit from early treatment already exists or if your child is ready for comprehensive treatment you're in the right place to get started!
After your initial no-cost consultation, Dr. Jolly will discuss her customized treatment plan for you and/or your child. Not all cases are the same and pricing typically varies accordingly. A simpler case may take as little as 6-12 months while a more complex case will typically last longer. Rest assured that pricing at Jolly Orthodontics is always fair and we strive to make all treatment affordable — we accept all major private insurances and offer both in-house and 3rd party payment plans.
Yes! We absolutely accept all major private insurance plans. Not only do we work with your insurance company to make it as easy as possible for our patients — we accept the assignment of benefits and collect on your behalf. No messy claims or follow-up on your part! If you have any questions prior to your consultation we are glad to go ahead and check your coverage to make sure there are no surprises at your first appointment.
Jolly Orthodontics absolutely offers payment plans. We provide in-house payment options with modest up front payments to make getting the smile you deserve as easy as possible. We also provide outside financing options for those wishing to have additional flexibility with their payment schedule.
We include 2 sets of retainers with every treatment plan and, to keep that great Jolly Ortho smile, we definitely suggest wearing retainers nightly. Dr. Jolly not only utilizes removable retainers but also fixed lingual retainers to make sure that your customized orthodontic result can be enjoyed by you for years to come!
You'll often hear our staff saying "You only have to wear your retainer as long as you want your teeth to stay straight" ;) While the first couple of years is the most crucial to nighttime wear, we will always recommend you wear your retainer nightly. We also offer fixed lingual retainers to eligible patients to help ease any retention worries.
Just give us a call or text at 601-605-2400 as soon as you know you don't have your retainer. We make it easy and affordable to get a replacement retainer...most of the time within 24 hours!
