Fixed (Bonded) Retainers
A thin wire permanently bonded behind your front teeth. Works continuously.
How Long Do You Wear a Retainer?
Initially full-time for the first month or two followed by nighttime-only wear. We will recommend wearing your retainer at night indefinitely.
Retainer Care Tips
- Clean daily with a soft toothbrush and cool water
- Store retainers in their case when not wearing them. Either in the case...or in your face. ;-)
- Keep away from pets
- Bring to every follow-up appointment
- Contact us right away if it cracks, warps, or no longer fits
